TO PLAN YOUR VIDEO

DECIDE WHAT PLATFORM(S) IT IS FOR
Knowing the platform is helpful when writing the script. For example, if you're on facebook, you have three seconds to get attention and convince them to click the audio. If on youtube, 7 to 15 seconds may be consumed before the viewer decides to stay or leave. However, on landing pages - the person has already made the choice to watch your information. It is possible to create a video that will work on all platforms, however knowing "where it will live" helps when structuring the order and length of your video and its information.

SPEAK WITH THE DIRECTOR
Provide the director with pictures of product or links to site, brand guidelines such as FONTS, HEX COLOR #s and any other assets, as well as the central message and any bullet points you want your video to communicate.
The director then gives you the right approach/concept. You define how many cast members and locations will be needed and a budget is decided on. At Brainiac, we work on flat rates with a structured approach to writing, shooting and revisions to ensure your budget does not grow.

SCRIPT
Your director takes your bullet points and the tone of the video that is right for your brand and current message, and develops the script after what is typically a one hour session (phone, whatsapp, skype or zoom). You get a two free rounds of script revisions.

CAST, VOICE LOCATION,
Director gives a handful of great cast and voice over suggestions. You choose your favorites. Cast members send director self-shot auditions for your final approval.

SHOOT
Usually within 2 weeks, we shoot in Sunny Southern California, primarily in Los Angeles and San Diego. We have locations that look like all regions available within the diverse surrounding areas here.

EDIT
We deliver the edit with all the music, sound fx and voice over.
You get two free rounds of revisions thereafter.

DONE. THE VIDEO IS ALL YOURS!
We give you the video in the various requested formats.
